The quintessential Filipino icon of transportation, I have always been drawn to the Jeepney’s history as repurposed vehicles left behind by the American military. Though constructed from scrap metal and parts, these trucks are often covered in bright colors and vibrant scenes.

These Jeepneys, painted over the past 4 years, each represent a unique form of self-expression and rediscovery - each revealing a new facet of myself and my experience.
